About the role:
The School is currently seeking a Junior Years Teacher for a 12 month contract position. The successful candidate will join a team of passionate educators committed to providing our students with a well-rounded education.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of primary schooling in an all girls educational environment and will have expertise with high-quality pedagogical practices. The role will commence for Term 1, 2026.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications and current Queensland College of Teachers registration
You will have experience in delivering educational content with a commitment to teaching excellence
Have a deep understanding of the Principles of Instruction, High Impact Teaching Strategies and visible thinking routines, and how to implement them in a classroom setting
Ability to differentiate for a diverse group of non-selective students and teach to the strengths of girls
Strong interpersonal skills, enabling harmonious and positive relationships.
Demonstrate excellence in communication, organisation, and time management skills
An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with legal obligations relating to child safety, including mandatory reporting requirements.
